We've been collecting and enjoying cactus and succulent plants since 1991. When the Internet was made available to the general public in 1995, we found it to be a viable community to trade products and services. We sold computer and networking equipment from 1996 to 2000 through various online classified web sites. In 2000 we tested our first cactus plant. It sold, so we found more to sell. After 10 years of trading C&S online through our own calplants.com site and ebay, we now offer more than 1000 plant items and supplemental garden supplies. We discovered fat plants when visiting the C&S club shows in Southern California and found them to be fascinating when staged properly. Now we have developed this site to focus on this ever growing branch of the cactus and succulent hobby.
