Introduction to Avonia Plants

Avonia is a fascinating family of caudiciform plants.
Avionia stay very compact and may have a base that matures at four
inches wide by two inches tall. Most Avonias are verysensitive to
overwatering. The grower should let the soil become completely dry
before watering again. We would consider this family of plants to be
reserved for advanced growers. Avonias normally have white flowers but
occasionallymay have pink, which are highly sought after by collectors.
